MONTELLO -- Richard Allen Wehe of Montello/Milton, died Nov. 4, 2006, at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital.

Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Nov. 8 at Witcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home in Milton.

He was born Oct. 3, 1945, in Loyal, the son of Eugene and Alice (Schmidtke) Wehe Sr. He was stationed in Vietnam while serving in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1972. He worked at General Motors until retiring.

He is survived by Gwen (Maas); sons, David (Candy) LaFleur of Milton, Russel (Tricia) Wehe of Footville, and Jason (Penny) LaFleur of Janesville; 10 grandchildren; his sisters, Margaret (Harry) Scheel and Kathy Niswonger, both of Marshfield; brothers, Eugene (Carol) Jr. of Juneau, Alaska, Duane of Manawa, William of Long Beach, Calif., James of Garden Grove, Calif., and Mike (Carol) of Janesville.
