NEILLSVILLE -- Ned E. King, 77, of Racine, died Nov. 20, 2006, at Vidas Hospice, Milwaukee.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Ned was born Aug. 6, 1929, in Neillsville to Rob and Jessie (Stevens) King. He grew up in the Neillsville area and married Gladys Kopp of Neillsville on June, 4, 1946, and raised five children. Ned worked as a Fur Rancher for most of his life. He retired in 1997, due to ill health.

Ned is survived by his wife, Gladys; his five children: Donald, Shirley (Al), Sherry (Tom), Karen, Dennis (Marge) all of the Milwaukee area. He also is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Dimple Reise of Yelm, Wash.
