Miller, Lynn F. (1 SEP 1918 - 2 AUG 1935)
Lynn Fredrick Miller departed his earthly life Aug. 2, 1935, in Bell Memorial Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, age 16 years, 11 months and 2 days. He was born in Iowa Falls, Iowa, Sept. 1, 1918, living there until he was two years old, when he moved with his parents to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).
At the age of 10 years, he came to Almena, Kan., where he lived five years with his uncle, Fred Baker. In the fall of 1934 he went to Denver, Colo., where he lived until his last illness.
Lynn possessed an unusual loving and cheerful disposition. He was always thoughtful of others, being good to everyone. These characteristics endeared him to his relatives and a host of friends, who will miss him greatly.
He leaves to mourn his death his mother and father; two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Smith and Mrs. Margurette Nichols, both of Denver; an aged grandmother, Mrs. J.W. Baker; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church in Almena and the body was laid to rest in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Frank Miller of this city, attended the funeral of his son at Almena.
