Stannard, Emma (15 Dec. 1853 - 6 Nov. 1939)

Funerals services for Mrs. Emma Stannard, 86, who died at the Masonic Home at Zenith, Wash., November 6, were held at her former home at Wenatchee, Wash., the order Amaranth, court of Wenatchee, having charge of the services. The remains were interred beside her husband, John Stannard, who passed away in 1922. Mrs. Stannard had been bed-fast for nearly ten years, according to a letter from her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Martha Stannard.

She was born in Wisconsin, December 15, 1853. In 1871 she was married to John D. Stannard. They lived in Neillsville for many years, Mr. Stannard being in business here.

The departed was a member of the Easter Star Chapter here and after going to Wenatchee in 1909 she affiliated with the Astral Chapter. She was also a charter member of the Order of Amaranth, court of Wenatchee.

She is survived by her son, Frank L. Stannard, and grandson, Robert E. Stannard.
