Veefkind Group to Give Play
Veefkind--Members of the Young People's Lutheran association of Salem Lutheran church will present the 4 act comedy-drama, "The Road to the City" on Tuesday evening, June 22, in the granary at the August Rahm farm, three and one-half miles east of Spokeville, and on Friday evening, June 26, in the M. W. A. hall, Chili. The proceeds are to be given to the church fund. Following is the cast of characters: Robert Darnell, a country physician--Walter Krahn, Richard James, a man from the city--John Steiner Jud Judkins, a young farmer--Arthur Fisher John James, Richard's invalid father--Martin Fisher Duke, man of mystery--Arthur Grewenow Jet Sanderson, at the crossraods--Verna Luther Toto Lee, her cousin--Linda Schroeder Lily Morton, from the city--Hulda Fisher Mrs. Sanderson, Jet's mother--Adeline Woodruff Marie, maid--Mrs. Martin Fisher
