THORP BAKER HURT SERIOUSLY IN CRASH
Hurled Through Windshield When Autos Collide
Thorp, June 26--Harvey Howard, 60, veteran Thorp barber, is in St. Joseph's hospital at Chippewa Falls suffering from injuries received in an automobile collision this morning. Howard was riding in a small coupe driven by William Parks. The men were driving east on Highway 29 and as they approached the city at a point where the highway joins the main business thoroughfare their auto collided with another machine owned by John Sezymaisk which turned out from a gasoline station. The force of the impact hurled Howard through the windsheild, while the car in which he was riding turned over and settled on top of him. He suffered a severe skull fracture and internal injuries. The others escaped with bruises.
