DeBarr, Marcella (24 JAN 1938)
Miss Marcella DeBarr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred DeBarr, Merrill, became the bride of George Chartier, Merrill, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Chartier, at a simple ceremony performed in the parsonage of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Greenwood Monday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. George Heilman officiated.
Mrs. Russell Mead, sister of the bride, and Russell Mead, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), were the couple’s only attendants.
The bride wore a frock of rust colored wool with green accessories and Mrs. Mead was attired in dark blue.
After the ceremony the couple left for Merrill, where they will make their home. Mr. Chartier is employed in a mill there.
The bride is well known in Greenwood through her visits there with Russell Mead’s.
