Kind, Ruth (6 JUL 1938)

Gowned in traditional white satin, with train and veil, Miss Ruth Kind, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kind, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged marriage vows with Raymond Rasmussen, son of Adolph Rasmussen, Greenwood, at a 2 o’clock wedding service performed on July 6, at the United Lutheran Church at Greenwood. The Rev. A.E. Norson officiated at the ceremony.

The bride, who carried a bouquet of lilies and sweet peas, was attended by Mrs. Walter Rasmussen in blue chiffon and by Miss Theresa Karbeck in peach colored chiffon.

Walter Rasmussen and Vernon Kind attended the bridegroom.

After the ceremony 100 guests were entertained at a reception and wedding supper at the home of the bride’s parents. The dining room was festooned with white, blue and peach streamers and a white wedding bell was suspended in the center of the room.

Mr. and Mrs. Rasmussen are now at home to friends on his father’s farm at Greenwood.
