Francis, Lucille M. (15 SEP 1938)
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Francis, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), announce the marriage of their daughter, Lucille May, to Alton Gus Marvin, son of Mrs. Emma Marvin, Merrillan, which took place at Black River Falls at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 15, 1938.
Miss Agnes Vetrock and John McKivet, both of Merrillan, were the couple’s only attendants.
The bride wore a frock of blue silk crepe and Miss Vetrock was dressed in orchid colored silk crepe.
Twelve relatives and friends were entertained at a reception and wedding supper at the home of the bridegroom’s mother in Merrillan. Present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Claud Tennant and family, Racine; Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Hall and son, Billy, black River Falls; Miss Olive Francis and Russell Buettner, Greenwood.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin left on a wedding trip to Racine. After tomorrow they will be at home to friends at Merrillan, where the bridegroom is employed.
