Miss Lorraine Bowen, daughter of Mrs. Dora Bowen, town of Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Lester Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Angus Peterson, Westboro, were united in marriage at a ceremony performed in the parsonage of the Lutheran Church at Ogema Saturday evening at 7 o’clock. The Rev. Mr. Lunn read the brief service.
For her wedding the bride chose a blue crepe bolero dress, in street length, trimmed with milti-colored sequins, and wore matching accessories. Mixed fall flowers were confined in her shoulder corsage.
Miss Marie Peterson, Westboro, sister of the bridegroom, attended as bridesmaid, wearing an afternoon frock of green silk crepe with matching accessories. Her corsage was similar to the bride’s.
Harry Natzski, Sturgeon Bay, attended Mr. Peters as best man. Both wore oxford gray suits.
For the present Mr. and Mrs. Peterson will make their home with the bride’s mother. Mr. Peterson is employed by the William Conway Construction Company.
On Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 28, the bride was honored at a community prenuptial shower at the home of her mother. She was present with many lovely gifts.
