Volk, Anne L. (29 OCT 1938)
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Volk, Willard, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Anne L. Volk, to Jerome Stremikis, Tioga (Clark Co., Wis.), which took place on Oct. 29, 1938 at 8:30 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard. The Rev. Marsalle Marinsek officiated at the nuptial service.
Miss Amy Morgal and Albert Volk were the couple’s only attendants.
Traditional white satin, designed with a pleated skirt and bolero jacket, was worn by the bride, who carried a bouquet of white roses. Miss Morgal was attired in peach colored taffeta.
Immediate relatives were entertained at a wedding dinner after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents. In the evening a wedding dance was held at the Willard Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Stremikis are now at home on a farm at Tioga, where the bridegroom is engaged in farming.
