Hirsbrunner, Alice (24 SEP 1939)

Miss Alice Hirsbrunner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hirsbrunner, Monroe, became the bride of Ernest Schwarze, Monroe, son of William J. Schwarze, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), at a ceremony performed at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 1939, at St. John’s Evangelical Church, Monroe, with the Rev. Paul C. Hehle officiating.

Miss Lucille Striker, Monroe, and Arnold Schwarze, Argyle, brother of the bridegroom, attended the couple.

For the ceremony the bride wore a dress of steel blue, with gold and black accessories and carried a bouquet of talisman roses and sweet peas. Miss Striker was also dressed in steel blue and wore a corsage of mixed sweet peas.

A wedding dinner was served to a few relatives and friends after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Schwarze will make their home at 1503 12th Av. In Monroe.

The bride is a graduate of the Monroe High School with the class of 1935, and for the past three years has been employed in Monroe.

Mr. Schwarze was graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1927, and later from the Coyne Electrical School, where he studied in the radio division.
