Delwiche, Christerpher W. (6 JAN 1958 - 31 OCT 2006)

Christerpher W. Delwiche, 48, Greenwood, died at his home on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, at Forest Hill Cemetery, town of Warner, rural Greenwood. The Rev. Kevin Hanke officiated.

Christopher William Delwiche was born on Jan. 6, 1958, in Green Bay, to Kenneth and Anna Marie (nee Simons) Delwiche. He was raised and attended school in the Green Bay area. After high school, he moved to California for two years and worked in the avocado groves. He moved back to Wisconsin where he held various jobs, but most of the time worked as a farmhand. He married Tina Smuruava, Pulaski. They later divorced. He moved to Cecil and started his own heating and refrigeration business, which he operated for five years. In 1997, he moved to Greenwood and purchased a farm, where he lived with his mother and daughter. He had many interests, but especially loved music, playing guitar, animals, gardening, and being out in nature.

Survivors include his daughter, Anita Delwiche, Greenwood; one sister, Denise Delwiche, New Orleans, La.; one uncle, Robert (Miriam) Simons, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; cousin; and friends.
