Volovsek, Mary (19 OCT 1940)
Miss Mary Volovsek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Volovsek of Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Vitka Staut of Milwaukee at a 9 o’clock ceremony Saturday morning, Oct 19, 1940, at the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard. The Rev. Marcellus Marinshek, O.F.M., performed the ceremony.
A gown of white satin and lace and a long veil were chosen by the bride for her wedding ensemble, and Miss Mary Volarich, maid of honor, wore a floor-length dress of aqua blue. Miss Anna Volovsek, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid in a pink silk dress, and little Betty Volovsek, also a sister of the bride, acted as flower girl in a dress of aqua silk.
The bridegroom was attended by Frank and Stanley Volovsek, brothers of the bride.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents that evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Staut will reside in Milwaukee, where the former is employed as a painter.
