Miss Vivian Leona Voie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Charles Woodrow Stuber, son of Mrs. William Stuber of Strum, exchanged vows at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the United Lutheran Church at Greenwood. Rev. A. E. Norson read the rites.
A street-length dress of soldier blue with matching accessories was chosen by the bride for the nuptials. He corsage was fashioned of yellow roses and chrysanthemums. Miss Lorraine Stuber, maid of honor, wore a maroon colored dress with soldier blue accessories. Her corsage contained salmon pink roses and chrysanthemums.
Emory Voie attended the bridegroom, as best man, and Mrs. Herbert Schwartz sang "Oh Promise Me" and "Because." Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
Mrs. Stuber was graduated from the Eau Claire Senior High School in 1939. The couple will reside on a farm at Strum, route 1.
Out of town guests attending the wedding were Mrs. William Stuber, Sandford Stuber, Alvin Stuber, Misses Lorraine Stuber and Eva Baker, Strum; Mrs. Fred Bischoff, Osseo; Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Barneson, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dunn and daughter, Danielle, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Larson, Owen, Wis.
