The Lutheran Parsonage at Waukon, Iowa, was the scene of the wedding of Miss Alma Beyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Beyer, Pine Valley (Clark Co., Wis.), and Melvin Mech, Madison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mech, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), at 1:30 on the afternoon of Saturday, Jan. 4, 1941.
The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Horehled, brother-in-law and sister of the bride.
Mrs. Mech completed her course of study in the Neillsville High School last year, continuing with some post graduate work.
Mr. Mech was graduated from the Greenwood High School in 1937, later attending Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point for two years. At present, he is taking a short course in dairying at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where the young couple plan to make their home upon the completion of his studies.
