Olson, Lucille M. (30 AUG 1941)

At 2:30 o’clock this afternoon, Miss Lucille M. Olson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Olson, Town of Warner (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Warren A. Oswald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Oswald, Town of Beaver, at the Trondhjem Lutheran Parsonage. The Rev. M.K. Aaberg read the rites.

The bride chose a blue crepe street-length dress and brown accessories, and Mrs. Carl Turnquist, sister of the bride, maid of honor, appeared in a wine-colored dress with black accessories. Each carried a mixed bouquet. Mrs. Eugene Nolan, sister of the groom, attended as bridesmaid in a blue dress with which she wore black accessories. Carl Turnquist and Eugene Nolan were best man and groomsman, respectively.

A supper was served to immediate relatives and friends after the ceremony, and 50 guests attended a reception held at the home of the bride’s parents. A large wedding cake centered the bridal table, and blue and white crepe paper and a white wedding bell served as decorations.

The bride attended high school in Greenwood, and Mr. Oswald attended school in Sparta. They will reside in the Town of Beaver, where the latter is engaged in farming.
