Popovich, Angeline (18 APR 1942)

Wearing a grey suit with black accessories and a corsage of red carnations, Miss Angeline Popovich of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Willard, became the bride of John Korenchan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Korenchan of Willard (Clark Co., Wis.). The ceremony was performed at 2 o’clock on Saturday afternoon, April 18, 1942, in the parsonage of the Trondhjem Lutheran Church with the Rev. M.K. Aaberg reading the rites.

Mr. and Mrs. Ignace Gabrovic were the only attendants.

Mrs. Gabrovic was attired in a tan suit and wore a corsage of pink carnations.

For the present Mr. and Mrs. Korenchan will reside with the groom’s parents at Willard, where the groom is engaged in farming.

I am researching the Korenchan family. My great aunt was Karoline (More) Korenchan. My grandmother was her sister Juliane (More) Hann.

Happened upon this ... Angeline was my mother and was married to my father John Korenchan. Karoline would be my grandmother.

What is it you'd like to know? I dabbled with geneology year's ago, but kind of fell away.

I am Chuck Bundschuh. My mother was Clara Hann Bundschuh. Her mother was Julia More Hann, Karoline Korenchans sister. Was researching the More (Morey) side of the family. Got alot of information from the Slovenian Society. Have photos of my mother on the farm in Wis. My nickname was Peanuts and I have a sister named Candy. Don't know if those names are familiar or not. We used to visit your folks alot when I was a boy. We lived out in Carpentersville. I now live near Crystal Lake.
