Miss Hazel L. Kern, Chicago, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kern, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Leonard J. Mueller, Oglesby, Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Mueller, Chicago, in a 7:30 p.m. ceremony performed in LaSalle, Ill., on April 25, 1942, by Judge Henry W. Kibilka.
Miss Florence Mueller, Oglesby, sister of the groom, and Fred Politz, were the only attendants.
For the occasion the bride was attired in a navy blue dressmaker suit and matching hat and black accessories. Her corsage was fashioned of red roses and white gardenias. Her attendant wore a beige and brown plaid suit, bege accessories, and an orchid.
A wedding dinner for the bridal party followed at the Hotel Kaskaskia, La Salle.
Mrs. Mueller was graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of ’34 and has been employed in Chicago for the past five years. Mr. Mueller is superintendent of a defense factory school in Oglesby, where the couple will reside.
