Moldenhauer, Alice (15 JUN 1943)

Wearing a fitted white jersey dress with white accessories, Miss Alice Moldenhauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Moldenhauer, Hazelton, Iowa, exchanged wedding vows with Elmer Killion, S.C. third class, Charleston, S.C., son of Mrs. Alice Killion, of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), June 15, 1943 in Iowa City, Iowa. The ceremony was performed in the First Methodist Church by the Rev. L.L. Dunnington at 5 p.m.

Miss Gretchen Acker of La Cross, a friend of the bride, in a navy dress and white accessories, was her attendant. Both wore corsages of roses.

Jay M. Alton, pharmacist’s mate, second class, a friend of the groom, was best man.

Both the bride and groom were graduated from the Greenwood High School, Mrs. Killion with the class of 1940 and the groom in 1941. For the past year Mrs. Killion who also was graduated from Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point, taught the primary grades in the Eidsvold State Graded School near Thorp. Prior to his enlistment in the coast guard in April 1942 the groom was employed in Milwaukee.

For the present the couple will reside in Charleston.
