Hemmersbach, Angela (15 JUN 1943)
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hemmersbach of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), announce the marriage of their daughter, Angela, to Martin Merlak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Merlak, Willard, in a ceremony performed in St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Greenwood at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 1943. The Rev. J.J. Novak officiated and Miss Lydia Hemmersbach, a sister of the bride, and Giles Susa were attendants.
For the occasion the bride chose a blue tailored suit with which she wore white accessories. White carnations and blue delphinium were arranged in the bridal bouquet. Her sister wore a gray menswear flannel tailleur, a red and white turban, and a corsage of white carnations and blue bachelor buttons.
Breakfast and supper were served to 25 guests at the home of the bride’s parents, decorated with red, white and blue. A large wedding cake centered the bridal table. That evening a dance was held at the Merry Ol’ Gardens.
