Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Lorraine Marie Pendill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Pendill of St. Louis, Mo., to Cpl. Edmund L. Engel, son of the late Albert Engel, now stationed at Tomah. The ceremony was performed in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Granton (Clark Co., Wis.) Monday afternoon, Sept. 6, 1943. Guests at the service included an aunt of the groom’s, Mrs. Bertha Warnke, with whom Cpl. Engel made his home, and Mrs. Paul Minsaas and son, Ronnie, all of Greenwood.
