Braun, Marie (20 NOV 1943)

Mr. and Mrs. John Loos, who were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), Nov. 20, 1943, at 9 a.m., with the Rev. J. Novak reading the vows, are now at home to friends at 1012 S. Cherry St., Marshfield, where the groom is employed.

The bride, the former Miss Marie Braun, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benedict Braun of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), wore a long white crepe gown and carried white chrysanthemums. Her finger tip veil of illusion was caught to a tiara headdress and her only jewelry was a string of pearls. She was attended by her sister, Bernice, who wore a blue taffeta frock and matching blusher and carried pink and white carnations.

Clemence Loos, brother of the groom, was best man.

Dinner was served to the immediate relatives and closest friends at the home of the bride’s parents and that evening a wedding dance was given at the Silver Dome at Neillsville, Wis.

Mr. Loos is the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Loos, also of Loyal.

Guests included Miss Dorothy Loos, Miss Bernice Braun, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Keller, Chicago; and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gieger and daughter of Dorchester, Wis.
