Hewett
Mrs. Clarence Hardwick spent a few days at her sister’s home. Mrs. George Lueptke, at Christie, and the latter part of the week with her sister, Mrs. Nina Martens, as the baby was sick.
George Squires of Humbird is helping his sister, Mrs. Nina Martens.
Kellers ice house was filled with ice last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Esslinger entertained guests from Two Rivers over the weekend.
The Chas. Ehlert farm has been sold to a party from St. Paul.
Ray Arndt bought an automobile recently.
Clarence Hart spent the weekend with his parents.
Burchells of Humbird called Clarence Hardwick’s Friday, but no one was at home.
Mr. and Mrs. R. Clark called at the H. Steimkis and H. Collins homes Wednesday evening.
Several of the tax papers have called on Town Treasurer Steimke and paid their taxes which are lower.
