Sass, Mary Rose (June 6, 1913 - June 26, 2006)
Mary Sass, age 93, of Neillsville, formerly of Chicago, IL died Monday, June 26, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Mary Rose Sass was born on June 6, 1913 in Chicago the daughter of Stephen and Mary (Zadvecz) Zokoych. She was united in marriage to Edward Sass and worked for many years in Chicago.
She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Carney and Patricia Sass, both reside in Neillsville; her grandchildren, Linda Pietrzen, James Caney and Patricia Carney. She has three great-grandchildren, Amanda Pietrzen, Cole Lightfoot and Alyssa Carney; one sister, Rose Emery, of Illinois; and a brother, Steve Zokoych of Oregon.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sass; two brothers, Frank and Bill; and two sisters, Sylvia and Florence.
