Johnson, Evelyn (Marriage - 3 Feb. 1940)
Evelyn Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Johnson of Muskego, Wis., and Robert Helm, son of Mrs. Emma Helm Chubb, Granton, were united in marriage at Tess Corners, Wis., February 3, at 4 p.m., Rev. Tacke, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, performing the double-ring ceremony at the parsonage.
The couple was attended by close friends, Mr. and Mrs. H. Martian of Waukesha.
For the wedding the bride chose a very becoming dark street dress and carried carnations. The groom wore a dark blue suit. After the ceremony the couple returned to the Martian home where a wedding dinner was served to a few close friends and relatives, the bride’s parents being unable to attend.
At yet, the young couple is undecided as to their future plans.
