Smith, Emma (1876? - 15 JAN 1941)
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Frank Smith, 64, a former Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) woman, at West La Crosse on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1941.
Mrs. Smith was the former Emma Overtuf, whose stepfather, Daniel Spencer, was overseer on the Spaulding farm, now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. George Einfeldt. She left Greenwood in 1893.
Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Cecil of Janesville and Harold and Ralph of La Crosse; four sisters, Mrs. P.E. Peterson, Greenwood; Mrs. H. Bryden, North Bend, Ore.; Mrs. Albert Paulson, Black River Falls; and Mrs. William Craig, La Crosse; and one brother, M.V. Spencer, Forston, Wash. There are also three grandchildren.
