Laabs, Dorothy L. (25 JUN 1942 - 4 OCT 1942)

Funeral services for Dorothy Lorraine Laabs, 3-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Laabs, who died of a choking spell, Oct 4, 1942, at Richland Center, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Schiller Funeral Home, the Rev. George Heilman of Trinity Lutheran Church, Greenwood, officiating. Burial was made in the family lot at South Green Grove (Clark Co., Beaver Twshp., Wis.).

The body was brought here Tuesday afternoon following a short service at Richland Center at 10 o’clock that morning.

Dorothy was born in Richland Center June 25, 1942. Surviving besides her parents are a sister, Margaret, 7; a brother, Donald, 6; the paternal grandfather, William Laabs, Oshkosh; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Logemann, Plymouth; and an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Vollrath, Greenwood.

William Laabs and Mrs. Logemann were among those from away who attended the funeral.
