Duell, Hattie (13 JUN 1877 - 18 OCT 1943)

Mrs. Hattie Duel, 66, who had been ill the past week due to a heart ailment and influenza, died at 11 o’clock Monday morning, Oct. 18, 1943, at the home of her brother, Warren Barnett, in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).

Mrs. Duell, nee Barnett, daughter of Hiram and Sylvia (Ramsey) Barnett, was born in Brown Co., Wis., June 13, 1877. Her husband, Asa, died six years ago.

Funeral services for Mrs. Duell, who joined Grace Methodist Church and the Woman’s Society of Christian Service only a few weeks ago, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Grace Methodist Church, the Rev. Alex J. Abbott officiating. Interment will take place in the Loyal Cemetery.
