Locals

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dorst and children, Patricia and James, of Heintown had dinner with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Felser, and son, Dwayne, Sunday. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Felser and their guests went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Dudei and joined other relatives in helping Mrs. Dudei celebrate her 79th birthday.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Larkin of Black River Falls spent Easter Sunday here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Deutsch, and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hepburn visited Mrs. Hepburn’s relatives at Eau Claire Sunday.

Mrs. Archie Gall and two sons spent Easter with relatives at Kenosha.

Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Selvig of Sturgeon Bay were Easter day guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Russell.

Mrs. Ray Kauffman and children spent Easter Sunday with Mr. Kauffman’s mother at Loyal. Miss Betty Zimmerman and Thomas Flynn drove up in the afternoon and had supper with them, and they all came home together in the evening.

Mrs. Leo Jackson and son, Robert, of Madison were over Easter visitors with Neillsville relatives and friends.

William Hoepner of Menomonie spent the weekend here with Marcus Baumann and other friends.

Larry Kauffman joined his father, who is employed at carpenter work at Stevens Point, and his cousin, Inman Whipple, athletic coach in the schools at Viroqua, in a trip to Platteville, where they took in the Golden Gloves finals.

Miss Mildred Baumann arrived home from Stout Institute Thursday to remain over Easter Monday with her parents, the Rev. and Mrs. William A. Baumann, and family.

Miss Hilma Embretson spent the weekend with her parents and other relatives at Stanley.

Arthur Carl received an injury to his right arm in a fall near his home on South Clay Street recently. At the time Mr. Carl did not think the injury serious, but several days later, when the physician examined it, a bone below the elbow was found to be fractured.

Miss Ellen Boe, a student at Central State Teachers College, Stevens Point, spent the Easter vacation with her folks at Loyal and with the Ray Kauffman family here.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eide and Mrs. Harry Donahue and daughter spent Easter with Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Eide and family, who moved recently from the town of Fremont to the Homer Ralph farm in the town of Grant, which they have rented.

Mrs. Beulah Norman left last Wednesday for Milwaukee for an over-Easter visit with her son and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Yorkston drove to Madison Saturday night to spend Easter Sunday with their son, Robert. Oluf Olson accompanied them to spend Easter day with Mrs. Olson at the hospital.

Patricia Gallaher fell while playing near her home last Thursday, breaking a bone in the right arm above the wrist.

Mrs. Helen Zinn returned to Milwaukee Friday, after spending the Easter recess here with her mother, Mrs. Samuel Cook.

Mrs. M. M. Weaver has been at Owen the past week caring for her little grandson, while her daughter, Mrs. E. R. Haslow, is in a hospital at Stanley.

D. A. Peterson was a business visitor in Minneapolis last Wednesday.

Fred Seif and August Arndt were at Fairchild and Augusta on business Friday.
