Greene, Henry W. (4 SEP 1854 - 13 FEB 1937)

Funeral rites for Henry Wilson Greene, 82, former Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, who died Saturday at his home at Toledo, Ohio, were conducted here Tuesday afternoon, at the Greenwood Cemetery.

The Rev. C.H. Gaylord, pastor of Grace Methodist-Episcopal Church, officiated. Pallbearers were Russell Mead, Harvey Flatz, Henry Keiner, Chester Shields, William Steiger, and Adolph Schwarze.

Born on Sept. 4, 1854, at Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Greene was married to Jane Sheets at Columbus Grove, Ohio. He was a resident of Greenwood for several years at various times, and was a member of the Masonic order.

Surviving him are three children, Mrs. O.W. (Mabel) Grismore, Toledo, Oh.; Clarence Greene, town of Butler (Clark Co.); and Mrs. C.J. (Maude) Carter, Greenwood; five grandchildren and one brother, Alfred, Columbus Grove, Ohio.
