Buettner, Douglas L. (3 DEC 1938 - 16 JAN 1939)

Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) - Funeral service were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Schiller Funeral Home for Douglas Lavern Buettner, 6-week-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Buettner, who died of double pneumonia at Black River Falls Clinic Jan. 16, 1939 at 2 p.m.

The Rev. C.R. Gaylord officiated at the services, and burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery. During the services Mrs. C.R. Gaylord sang the selection, "Jewels."

Douglas was born in Black River Falls Dec. 3, 1938, is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Buettner, Black River Falls; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Francis, Greenwood; and his paternal grandfather, William F. Buettner, Christie.

Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Elton Marvin, Merrillan; Merrill Francis, Fairchild; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Buettner, Mr. and Mrs. William Hall and son, Billy, Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Buettner, Neillsville; William and Everett Buettner, Christie; and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schultz, Globe.
