Plank, Margaret (16 JUN 1945)
Now at home to friends at 3933 Ravenswood Av., Chicago, Ill., are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Richards, whose wedding took place Saturday, June 16, 1945, at 5 p.m. in All Saints Episcopal Church in Chicago, with the Rev. F.M. Bernard reading the nuptial vows. Mrs. Richards is the former Miss Margaret Plank, Chicago, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Plank, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and the bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. George Richards of Chicago.
During the ceremony Mrs. Madelyn Chindlona sang "O Promise Me" and "Because."
The bride repeated her wedding vows in a white crepe wedding dress styled with a long court train and a fingertip veil of illusion caught to a tiara of lace and orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white carnations.
Mrs. Ed Carney, her sister’s only attendant, wore a formal frock of blue crepe and carried pink carnations, a cluster of which she had pinned in her hair.
