Susa, Marian (16 FEB 1946)
Miss Marian Susa, Chicago, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Susa, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and John M. Gatz, son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Gatz, Chicago, exchanged wedding vows in a double ring service read in St. Alphonsus Church, Chicago, Feb. 16, 1946, at 11:45 a.m.
For her wedding the bride wore a white satin gown designed with a full skirt ending in a long train and a snug fitting bodice. Her fingertip veil of illusion was caught to a seed pearl crown and she carried white roses and sweet peas.
Miss Shirley Gatz, a sister of the groom, in a pink net frock and blusher veil, was maid of honor. She carried red roses. Howard Susa, a brother of the bride, served as best man.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the Gatz home where pink and white streamers centered with white wedding bells canopied the ceiling. A large wedding cake formed the centerpiece at the bride’s table. Throughout the afternoon a reception was held.
Mrs. Gatz was graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1941.
