Ruth S. Krueger, 87, Spencer, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at Continental Manor, Abbotsford, Wis. There will be no service.

Ruth S. Martin was born Dec.31, 1918, in Milwaukee, to George and Gertrude (nee Grosskopf) Martin. Her first marriage was to Douglas Kuehn. He died in December of 1943. She then married Paul Krueger on Sept. 4, 1948. He died Sept. 18, 2003. They moved to Spencer in 1950 and she worked for Midland Co-op, Spencer, Women’s Credit Union, and Figi’s. She enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, reading and gardening.

Survivors include her children, Barbara Chaffin, Marshfield, Douglas Kuehn, Milladore, and Karen (Ted) Freezy, Spencer; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
