THORP -- Jeanette Ruth Parent, 73, of Thorp died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at the Thorp Funeral Home. Burial was in the town of Butler Cemetery in rural Thorp.
Visitation was from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the Thorp Funeral Home.
She was born June 17, 1933, in the town of Butler to Pirl and Helen (Morgan) Burrington. She married Dewayne Parent on Dec. 25, 1957, in the town of Butler. The couple lived in Grand Forks, N.D., and Humbird before returning to the town of Butler in 1982.
She is survived by her husband, Dewayne; son, Steven (Cynthia Moss), Thorp; sister, Jean (Ralph) McIntyle, Elk Mound; and brother, Fred (Marylou) Burrington, Thorp.
