Bohrer, Mrs. Albert (1864? - 26 May 1940)

Mrs. Albert Bohrer, 76, mother of Matt and Nick Scherer, formerly Mrs. John Scherer of this city, passed away at St. Paul Sunday, May 26, after years of illness, followed by a stroke last Thursday. Matt Scherer and three sisters were with their mother when she passes away.

Funeral services were held at St. Paul this Wednesday morning, interment taking place at Sheboygan. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Scherer and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Scherer and son attended the rites.

And Mrs. Sherer; Math C. and Nick J. of this city; Mrs. Johanna Talkner, Sheboygan; Mrs. Marie Hlinsky, Villard, Minn.; Mrs. Susie LeVeille, Minneapolis, Minn.; Edward, Chippewa Falls, and Mrs. Clara Novak, St. Paul. One son, Bernard, passed away March 17, 1908. The family moved to Sheboygan in 1910. On March 11, 1927 Mr. Scherer passed away in that city. After his death his wife left for Chicago, later on going to Spivey, Kansas, where she was united in marriage to Albert Bohrer, who survives. Due to her poor health she went to St. Paul to be with her daughter.

Funeral services were held from the chapel of O’Halloran & Murphy at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and at the Cathedral at 9 o’clock Rev. Luger officiating. Interment was made at Sheboygan.
