Announcement has been received here of the marriage of Miss Mary Rawson, Milwaukee, to Lt. Gordon E. Jackson, Camp Lee, Va., son of Mrs. Cecelia Jackson, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), on July 3, 1947, at Camp Lee. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Wood, the Lutheran Chaplain at Camp Lee.
Mrs. Jackson wore a white gabardine suit with a white hat and an orchid corsage. The attendants of the couple were Lt. and Mrs. Lokker, Camp Lee. Mrs. Lokker wore a gray dress and a corsage of gardenias.
A reception was held at the Officer’s Club at Camp Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Jackson are on a honeymoon trip to Richmond, Va., Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Md.
Lt. Jackson is a graduate of the Owen High School and Whitewater State Teachers College, and is an R.O.T.C. instructor with the regular Army. Mrs. Jackson formerly was employed in the office of the Collector of Internal Revenue, Milwaukee. They will live in the Walnut Hill apartments, Petersburg, Va.
