Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Charles Tieman, who were married Wednesday, May 12, 1948, by the Rev. Theodore Nelson at the United Lutheran Parsonage, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), will make their home at Thorp.
The former Leona Dorothy Hegenbarth is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hegenbarth, Greenwood. Mr. Tieman’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tieman, Thorp.
Attendants for the couple were the bride’s sister, Miss Catherine Hegenbarth, and Marvin Karlen, Thorp. The maid of honor wore a yellow suit accented with a corsage of pastel colored carnations. Her accessories were white.
The bride chose for her wedding costume a blue-gray suit and white accessories. Her corsage was also of pastel colored carnations.
Following the double ring ceremony, a reception for the immediate families was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Greenwood High School. Mrs. Tieman has been employed by the Greenwood Telephone Co. Her husband is engaged in farming.
Out of town guests who attended the wedding were Mrs. Maurice Nielson, Harold Nielsen, Misses Carmen Nielsen and Ruth Olson, Oregon; Mr. and Mrs. Theron Pagel, Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Olson, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tieman, Joyce and Linda Tieman, Thorp; Miss Catherine Lorvig, Starbuck, Minn.
