NEILLSVILLE -- Walter Hahn Jr., age 69, of Neillsville, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, in the Emergency Room at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville, Wis.

A memorial service for Walter will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at the Living Hope Evangelical Free Church in Neillsville, Wis.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to service time Monday at the church.

The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Walter's family with the arrangements.

Walter was born on Dec. 8, 1937, in Urbana, Ill., the son of Walter and Joheneva (Turner) Hahn. He was united in marriage to Joyce Smith on Feb. 26, 1960, in Tuscola, Ill. Walter worked various jobs throughout his life, living most of it in Neillsville, Wis.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; three children, Walter III (Sharon) Hahn, Neillsville, Gregory (Deborah) Hahn, San Diego, Calif., and Bethany (Darrell) Williams, San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Elaine Cochran of Chesapeak, Va., and Maryls Evans of Santa Rosa, Calif.
