Aged Lady Dies At Unity March 2

Mrs. Martha Busche was born In Germany October 28,1838 and had resided in March Rapids since 1899.

Mrs. Martha Busche, aged 95 years, who moved to Marathon County in 1883, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Riese, route 1 unity, Wednesday afternoon of last week. She had made her home with her daughter for the past five years. The body was taken to the Lulloff Funeral Home and services were held there at 1:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon followed by services at the Immanuel Lutheran church at March Rapids with Rev. J. CaBast in charge. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

The deceased was born in Germany Oct. 28,1848 and lived in Unity, Marathon and Mosinee before going to March Rapids in 1899. She lived there until going to make her home with her daughter at Unity.

Surviving are two sons, Fred and John Busche of March Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Conelia) Heucke of March Rapids and Mrs. Herman (Sophie) Riese of Unity; 25 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Her husband Henry Busche, died Nov. 12,1920, a son, Max, died of influenza while a soldier in the World War I, and a third son, Henry died in 1939. Her daughter Martha preceded her in death in 1936.
