The Greenwood Methodist Church was the scene of the marriage of Miss Mary Huntzicker to William Earl Snyder, at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 1948. The Rev. Lee H. Holmes officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. F.W. Huntzicker, Greenwood, and the parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. W. Earl Snyder, Washtucna, Wash.
White moiré taffeta formed the bride’s gown. A lace headdress held her elbow length veil. She carried a bouquet of white gladioli centered with a white orchid.
Miss Peggy Pace, Stanley, was maid of honor. Her floor length dress was of green taffeta. She carried yellow roses and gladioli which matched her yellow rose tiara.
John H. Huntzicker, brother of the bride, from Santa Monica, Cal., was best man. Usher was William M. Huntzicker, another brother of the bride. A supper for relatives was held at the home of the bride’s mother.
Mrs. Snyder is a graduate of Stout Institute, Menomonie, and Mr. Snyder attended Whitman College, Walla Walla, Wash.
The couple are lived in Washtucna, where Mr. Snyder is employed by an electric company.
