Now honeymooning in Yellowstone National Park are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Humke, who were married May 29 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.). The Rev. A. Schwe read the 7:30 p.m. service.

The bride is the former Eunice A. Payne, daughter of Mrs. Verna Payne, Neillsville, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Theodore Humke, Greenwood.

Bridal aides were Miss Mary Stewart and Mrs. Arvin Liebzeit. Attending the groom were Everett Humke, his brother, and Arvin Liebzeit. Ushers were William Schweinler, Mosinee, nephew of the groom, and Merlin Payne, brother of the bride.

The bride’s white satin gown was trimmed with seed pearls and her veil of imported illusion fell from a seed pearl and rhinestone coronet. Roses, lilies, sweet peas, and carnations made up the bridal bouquet.

Miss Stewart, as maid of honor, and Mrs. Liebzeit, as bridesmaid, were gowned in aqua and pink ninon, marquisette, respectively, with matching headdresses. They carried heart shaped shower bouquets of sweet peas and roses.

Sixty-five attended the reception, dinner and supper at the Merchants Hotel, Neillsville, Wis.

Mrs. Humke is a graduate of Neillsville High School, and Mr. Humke of Greenwood High School and Central state Teachers College, Stevens Point. He is a teacher at Braun Settlement School, route 4, Greenwood. Mrs. Humke is a cashier and bookkeeper at the J.C. Penney Company Store, Neillsville, Wis.

After June 12 the Humkes will be at home on Hewett St., Neillsville, Wis.
