Paschke, Gustave (15 JUN 1878 - 8 OCT 1950)
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) - Gustave E. Paschke, 72, Greenwood, died at his farm home 5 miles northeast of here yesterday (Oct. 8, 1950) at 3 a.m. He had been in ill health for several years.
Funeral rites will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Paschke home and at 2 p.m. at the Zion Reformed Church, Greenwood. The Rev. B.M. Fresenborg will officiate and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will repose at the Schiller Funeral Home until tomorrow afternoon when it will be taken to the home where it will lie in state until the services.
Gustave E. Paschke was married May 22, 1899, to the former Edith Burtog. He had lived in the Greenwood vicinity since 1918.
He was preceded in death by his wife, who died May 31, 1947.
One son and five daughters survive: John, on the home farm; H. (Augusta) Wisth, Mrs. Harry (Ella) Walthers, Mrs. Norman (Julia) Jackson, all of Milwaukee; and Mrs. Peter (Elma) Bauer, Lac du Flambeau.
