Tolaney, Mary (13 SEP 1870 - 6 APR 1949)

 

Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) - Mrs. Mary Tolaney, 79, a resident of Willard for more than 30 years, died at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Laken, 11 miles southwest of Greenwood. Death followed a lingering illness.

The body will lie in state at the Laken home until the time of the funeral services Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. The Rev. Leo Lovitt will officiate at the Requiem High Mass and interment will be made in the parish cemetery.

 

Mrs. Tolaney was born in Yugoslavia Sept. 13, 1870. Since the death of her husband, Anton, five years ago, she had been making her home with her children.

 

Surviving children are three sons and four daughters, Joseph, on the home farm at Willard; Tony, Ladysmith; John, Chicago; Mrs. Frank (Mary) Laken, Willard; Mrs. Joseph (Angeline) Jeras and Mrs. Frances Pavlin, both of Chicago; and Rose, a member of a religious order. There are 12 grandchildren.
