Brumbaugh, Shirley (18 MAR 1942 - 1949)
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) - Seven-year-old Shirley Brumbaugh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brumbaugh, Greenwood, route 3, died at 5:35 p.m. yesterday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
She had been brought to the hospital Tuesday night with a tetanus infection resulting from an earlier accident when a brother accidentally struck her above the eye with an arrow.
She was a first-grader in St. Mary’s Parochial School, Greenwood.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. J. Novak will officiate. The body will remain at the Schiller Funeral Home until time of services.
She was born in Greenwood March 18, 1942.
She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Dale and James, and a sister, Romelle. Her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Walters, Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Brumbaugh, Watertown, S.D., also survive.
