Kroll, Della A. (November 15, 1907 - March 13, 2005)
Della A. Kroll, age 97, of Neillsville, died Sunday, March 13, at the Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville, Wis.
Della was born on November 15, 1907 in Wildwood, New Jersey. Her parents wee Russell and Rosalie Dunn. She married Howard R. Severance on January 27, 1927. They were blessed with eight children. After his death on February 17, 1947, she and her children moved to Wisconsin. Her second marriage was to Henry J. Kroll on August 11, 1954. They owned and operated a dairy farm.
She enjoyed her family, friends, her animals; especially her cats, music, and flowers. In her sweet, gentle, kindness, she would do without in order to give to others. She will be very deeply missed by her family and friends and special friend Judy.
She is survived by her children, Howard (Song) Severance, of Cape May Courthouse, NJ; Russell (Marcia) Severance, of Rives Junction, MI; Lee (Don) McKissock, of Topsham, MNE; John Severance, of West Bend; Kathryn (Ted) Luecht, of Nekoosa; Dorothy (Robert) Askey, of Madison; Kenneth Severance, of Neillsville and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Howard Severance and Henry Kroll; her brothers, Thomas and Francis Dunn; sisters, Florence Dunn and Elizabeth Thorne; and her daughter, Anita Severance.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2005, at the Neillsville City Cemetery.
The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Della’s family with funeral arrangements.
