Copeland, Patricia M. (August 23, 1955 - December 29, 2006)

Patricia M. Copeland, age 51, of Neillsville, formerly of Whitewater, died Friday, December 29, 2006 at her home following a long battle with COPD.

Tricia was born August 23, 1955 in Whitewater, to Clifford and Violet (Schluetter) Truman. She was educated in Whitewater.

Tricia married Charles Copeland Sr. on April 20, 1973 in Whitewater. Tricia worked at Weathershield in Greenwood, and then in customer service at Figi’s Corporate Office in Marshfield. The highlights her past year was riding in the Dump Truck with her daughter in the "Make A Wish" convoy and spending quality time with friends Gertrude Henshen and Teresa Begolke.

Tricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting and had crocheted blankets and outfits for all her grandchildren and also embroidered bibs for them. Tricia also liked animals and enjoyed going fishing.

Tricia is survived by her husband, Charles Copeland Sr., of Neillsville; and five children, Patrick Copeland Sr., Consuelo (Connie) Copeland, Charles Copeland, Jr., Brad Copeland and Derek Copeland, all of Neillsville; and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Kenneth (Evelyn) Truman, of Amity, Arkansas.

Tricia was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Deanna Marie Copeland-Dye; and one sister, Donna Mcquire.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Pittsville. Rev. James Gordon officiated.

Pallbearers were Patrick, Brad and Derek Copeland, Pete Begolke, Cody Struensee and Austin King. Burial was in the Babcock cemetery.

Buchanan Funeral Home of Neillsville and Pittsville assisted the family with arrangements.
