Morgal, John (20 NOV 1864 - 10 AUG 1947)
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) - John Morgal, 83, died suddenly of a heart attack at 5 o’clock Sunday evening at his home, 11 miles southwest of Greenwood.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard, the Rev. Raphael Stragishar officiating. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Morgal was born in Yugoslavia Nov. 20, 1864, and came to Willard in 1909. Before coming here he spent some time in the West and at Ely. His marriage to Katherina Bukovec took place at Ely 49 years ago.
Survivors are his widow; a son, Joseph, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Marie) Fischer, Mrs. Matt (Jennie) Velcover, Mrs. Tom (Josephine) Karasek, and Mrs. Stanley (Amelia) Milnar, all of Waukegan, Ill., and Mrs. Robert (Rosalind) Henchman, San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Frank of Willard, and Tony, Yugoslavia; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
