DeLong, Lydia (16 AUG 1859 - 3 JUL 1947)
Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) - Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia DeLong, 87, Humbird, who died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Greenwood Nursing Home, will be held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Humbird Town Hall, with the Rev. N.J. Dechant officiating.
The body will lie in state at the Georgas Funeral Home until the time of services and will be interred in Mentor Cemetery at Humbird.
The former Lydia Banker was born Aug. 16, 1859, in Vernon Co., Wis., where she received her education. Following her marriage to Joseph De Long she resided on a farm near Humbird for several years, but for the past 24 years had lived with her daughter, Mrs. John Burchell, at Humbird. Mr. DeLong preceded her in death about three years ago.
Surviving the deceased are two sons, William, of Hilton, N.Y.; Earl, Two Rivers; one daughter, Mrs. John Burchell, Humbird; and 11 grandchildren.
